10-Day Tanzania Safari

7-Day Hunting in Iringa & 3-Day Beach Holiday in Zanzibar

Day 1 – Arrival in Tanzania – Transfer to Iringa

  • Arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport (Dar es Salaam) or Kilimanjaro International Airport.

  • Meet & greet by Top Trackers Tanzania representative.

  • Domestic flight or road transfer to Iringa hunting area.

  • Settle into camp, rifle check at the range, safety briefing, and overview of the hunting area.

  • Dinner and overnight in camp.

Day 2 – Hunting in Iringa

  • Early breakfast and depart at first light with PH and trackers.

  • Full day walk-and-stalk hunting for selected plains game (e.g. impala, wildebeest, zebra – as per quota).

  • Packed lunch in the bush or return to camp for hot lunch.

  • Evening return to camp, sundowners, dinner, and trophy discussion.

Day 3 – Hunting in Iringa

  • Morning hunt focusing on priority species not yet taken.

  • Glassing from vantage points and tracking on foot.

  • Midday rest in camp, then afternoon hunt until sunset.

  • Campfire dinner and planning for the next day’s strategy.

Day 4 – Hunting in Iringa

  • Full day in a different part of the concession to cover new ground.

  • Focus on mature trophy animals only, following ethical hunting principles.

  • Optional night drive (where permitted) for nocturnal species.

  • Overnight in camp.

Day 5 – Hunting in Iringa

  • Early start to target specific species based on tracks and sign from previous days.

  • Mix of vehicle access and on-foot tracking with experienced local trackers.

  • Trophy preparation begins in camp (skinning and salting).

  • Relaxed evening in camp.

Day 6 – Hunting in Iringa

  • Continue hunting to complete your wish list and quota.

  • Opportunity for photos and video in the field.

  • Afternoon rest or shorter hunt depending on success and guest preference.

  • Campfire stories and traditional Tanzanian dinner.

Day 7 – Final Hunting Day in Iringa

  • Last full hunting day to pursue any remaining priority species.

  • Time for additional photos in the bush and around camp.

  • Final trophy checks and paperwork in the evening.

  • Farewell dinner with the team.

Day 8 – Travel to Zanzibar

  • Breakfast in camp and transfer back to the nearest airstrip or road transfer to Dar es Salaam.

  • Flight from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar.

  • Meet & greet in Zanzibar and transfer to beach hotel.

  • Relax on the beach, swim, or enjoy sunset drinks.

  • Overnight at beach resort.

Day 9 – Zanzibar Beach & Optional Activities

  • Free day to relax on the white-sand beaches.

  • Optional activities (at extra cost):

    • Snorkeling or diving on nearby reefs

    • Dhow sunset cruise

    • Spice tour or Stone Town visit

  • Dinner and overnight at beach resort.

Day 10 – Zanzibar & Departure

  • Morning at leisure on the beach or last-minute shopping in Stone Town.

  • Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your international departure (via Dar es Salaam or direct, depending on flight).

  • End of 10-day hunting & beach safari.
